If this summit reaches capacity, a second session may be scheduled. The event will start with a continental breakfast at 7 a.m., followed by a welcome by Bill Kaufman, area representative on the Colorado Transportation Commission. A presentation on "Future Trends and Implications for the Region" will be at 8:15, followed at 8:45 by an exercise on future travel choices. In the "Connections" exercise, participants will break into small groups. Each will collectively determine how $2.5 billion should be spent for transportation projects by placing representative structures on maps of the NFRMPO boundaries. Results will be revealed in a follow-up session. |
