PSD's northern project list

By Dan MacArthur
North Forty News

Poudre High School would receive the lion's share of the bond issue revenues allocated to northern-area schools in the Poudre School District if a ballot measure passes on Nov. 2.

Of the nearly $10.9 million allocated to Poudre, nearly half would go toward replacement of the school's heating and ventilation system.

Overall, almost $23.8 million of the $120 million total bond issue would be applied to mountain and north-area schools.

The proposed mill levy override would provide northern schools with $1.426 million in additional funding annually to enhance educational programs and hire staff to reduce class size.

Highlights from the proposed spending lists follow with total allocations for each school and a few examples from the full lists. Numbers are approximate. The detailed version is available on the PSD web site www.psd schools.org.
