Health District candidates' forum scheduled

Candidates for the Health District of Northern Larimer County board of directors will participate in a free public forum on April 12, 7 p.m., at the Fort Collins City Council Chambers, 300 W. Laporte Ave.

The public is invited and requested to arrive by 6:45 p.m. Questions from the audience will be accepted. The forum also will be taped and televised later on City Cable 27.

Candidates participating in the forum include Rob Cagen, Averil Strand, Laurie Steele, Ronald Thaemert and Robert Weber, all of whom are vying for two open four-year seats. Also participating are Jassen Bowman, Joe Hendrickson and John Rennick, who are running for a two-year position.

The League of Women Voters of Larimer County is moderating the event.

The forum will be shown on the Fort Collins city cable channel 27 (US Cable channel 45) on the following dates and times: April 14, 7:30 p.m.; April 15, 2 p.m.; April 19, noon and 8 p.m.; April 22, 8:30 p.m.; April 23, 2 p.m.; April 26, noon and 7:30 p.m.; April 28, 6:30 p.m.; and April 29, 2 and 7 p.m.
