Winter has already arrived in the high country, draping shining white blankets over the green. In the city, the holiday season is not far behind! The lights will come on in Old Town early this month, and storefronts already beckon with tempting wares. In this year of financial hardship, many residents will be chipping in to local charities to make sure the season is merry for all.
