The U.S. Forest Service Canyon Lakes Ranger District is looking for two couples to be summer hosts to greet visitors at the historic Arrowhead Lodge Visitor Center located in the Poudre Canyon.
Located about 35-miles west of Fort Collins, Arrowhead is a 1930s summer resort with two interpretive cabins. It is a very popular stop in the canyon, logging approximately 60 visitors daily from Memorial Day through September. Those stopping by can get recreation and interpretive information, tour the historic site and buy maps and books. Hosts manage the visitor center and book store, as well as take care of the grounds.
Hosts work a four days on, three days off schedule from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., while sharing the responsibilities with another couple. The Forest Service supplies a free RV hookup with full utilities for hosts.
